I am deviating from my usual blog posts which are usually themed around new Rapid Rig features, now that most of the ones in my backlog are completed. Instead, I am sharing a bit of a different topic.
My Prusa MK4 3D printer kit arrived recently, and I had posed my Duke rig for one of my RRM3 videos, so I figured he would make a great first test for my new 3D printer!
After two evenings of assembling, it worked really well.

I really enjoy creating CG content, but being able to reproduce my creations in physical form adds a whole other layer to digital art, and it opens up all kinds of possibilities. And it's a lot of fun.
If you made it this far, thanks for entertaining my side-tangent about 3D printing. If anyone wants to nerd out with me about this topic, I hope to see you in the comments!
